Same day delivery
When we started, we were surprised that none of our competitors offered same day delivery, so when we set up our first store in Swindon we offered same day delivery. 19 years on, we have become one of the UK’s fastest growing independent bed retailers and have grown from 1 store to over 50 stores and are now able to offer same day delivery to most of England & Wales.
How do we do it?
We strongly believe that if a customer wants to buy a bed, it’s natural to want it the same day. At Swindon we have a 60,000 square feet purpose-built warehouse (supported by 2 other warehouses) with a massive stock of beds, mattresses and sofa beds, all in stock for same day delivery.
We have our own fleet of 40 Mercedes vans ready to deliver to customers around the country the bed they want, when they want it.
Our new Heli-Beds website
When we launched our new Heli-Beds website in September 07, we again focused on same day delivery. On the home page, we have a UK map showing our Gold Same Day Delivery Area, which covers most of England & Wales. On this page you can enter your postcode to find out the delivery dates available over the next 2 weeks and the delivery cost for your postcode
19 years on, same day delivery still sets Heli-Beds apart from other bed retailers and as our TV ads proudly claim, with Heli-Beds our service is ‘order by lunchtime, delivered by bedtime’ TM.
